Method of Safeguarding User Funds (Purport of Article 14, Paragraph (1) of the Payment Services Act)
As a system for protecting holders of prepaid payment instruments, the provisions of the Payment Services Act require that assets be safeguarded by making a security deposit for issuance, etc., with the Legal Affairs Bureau (the official depository) in an amount equal to or greater than half of the unused balance of the prepaid payment instruments as of March 31 and September 30 of each year.
Details of the Rights Provided for in Article 31, Paragraph (1) of the Payment Services Act
In the unlikely event that it becomes necessary, holders of prepaid payment instruments may, pursuant to the provisions of Article 31, paragraph (1) of the Payment Services Act, receive payment from the security deposit for issuance safeguarded in advance, in preference over other creditors.

Compensation for Losses Arising from Unauthorized Transactions
The Company shall not be liable in any way for losses incurred by customers due to unauthorized access, tampering, hacking, or other unauthorized use, except where the Company is liable under the Terms of Use or laws and regulations.

Public Disclosure of Unauthorized Transactions
If an unauthorized transaction occurs, the Company will investigate the unauthorized transaction and, if it determines that public disclosure is necessary in consideration of the extent of the losses incurred by customers and other factors, will publicly disclose the details of the unauthorized transaction.
